Mexico’s Secret 12th Man in the World Cup: Baby Jesus

A baby Jesus statue dressed in Mexican national team clothing has been displayed at Mexico City's Metropolitan Cathedral during the World Cup. The tradition of dressing the statue began at a Mexico City church approximately 60 years ago and was moved to the cathedral for this tournament. Mexico's record at the World Cup during the statue's display period has not included losses.
