Silver Lake merges Cegid and Silae in €10 billion bet on AI-era software

Private equity firm Silver Lake is merging Cegid and Silae, two French software companies, into a single entity. Cegid provides business management software while Silae offers payroll and HR services. The transaction values the combined company at approximately 10 billion euros.
