More than 1 in 10 chance AI ‘could kill all humans,’ says Anthropic safety lead after colleague quits

The statement came after Anthropic safety researcher Chris Olah resigned, stating in his resignation letter that AI labs including Anthropic are moving too quickly to develop powerful systems without adequate safety measures.
