Amazon Cargo Jet Pilots Appeared to Try Aborting Landing, N.T.S.B. Investigation Indicates

National Transportation Safety Board investigators determined that pilots of an Amazon cargo jet initiated a landing abort procedure seconds before the aircraft ran off the runway at Miami International Airport. The sequence of events showed a loss of time during the abort attempt. The incident resulted in the plane departing the runway surface. The NTSB investigation is ongoing.
