Kavanaugh blocks Missouri congressional map favoring GOP

Justice Brett Kavanaugh joined the court's liberal justices in blocking Missouri's congressional map on December 8, 2025. The map had been drawn by the Republican-controlled state legislature. Missouri's previous map was reinstated pending further proceedings.
