Mistral raises €3B as sovereign AI becomes big business

Mistral AI raised 3 billion euros at a 21 billion euro valuation in a Series D funding round led by Samsung, Scaleup Europe, and PSG Equity. The French artificial intelligence company has not disclosed the full list of participating investors. The funding round closes a capital raise for the company since its 2023 founding.
