Divers uncover hundreds of ancient relics near shipwreck untouched for 2,100 years

Divers discovered hundreds of intact amphorae on the seabed near Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, at the site of a Roman shipwreck. The vessels, used for storing and transporting goods in antiquity, remained largely undisturbed for approximately 2,100 years. The amphorae were documented in underwater photographs showing their distribution across the seafloor.
