Crypto platforms have lost over $3.63 billion to cyberattacks — even though most of them did security checks

Cryptocurrency platforms that experienced cyberattacks resulting in losses totaling $3.63 billion included many that had completed independent security audits, according to data from CoinGecko. The analysis found that more than 60% of affected platforms had undergone such security reviews prior to their breaches.
