Westpac Now Sees RBA Raising Cash Rate to 4.6% in November

Westpac Banking economist Luci Ellis changed the bank's forecast for the Reserve Bank of Australia's cash rate, predicting a raise to 4.6 percent in November. Ellis cited more resilient household incomes and larger spillovers from the data center boom as reasons for the revised call. The previous Westpac forecast had not included a November rate increase.
