Crashed Amazon cargo jet struck two vehicles, ended up 1,300 feet past runway, NTSB says

An Amazon cargo aircraft crashed at Miami International Airport on August 14, 2024, striking two vehicles on the ground and coming to rest approximately 1,300 feet beyond the runway's end, according to the National Transportation Safety Board. The crash resulted in at least five fatalities. NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy did not disclose the cause of the crash during initial statements.
