Caribbean Revelers Celebrate at Parade, Even as Many Are Missing

Hundreds of thousands of people attended the West Indian American Day Parade in Brooklyn on Labor Day. Some Haitian New Yorkers did not attend due to concerns about immigration enforcement activities. The parade, held annually in the Crown Heights neighborhood, featured music, food, and cultural performances.
