Grindr to pay £26m to settle claims it allegedly shared users' HIV status

Grindr agreed to pay 26 million pounds to settle a claim that it shared users' HIV status and other sensitive data with third parties in violation of UK privacy law. The claim was brought under the UK Data Protection Act. The settlement does not constitute an admission of liability by Grindr.
