Bentley’s Torcal EV tries to balance authenticity with fake V8 sounds

Bentley will offer the Torcal EV with an optional synthetic sound system that produces engine noise through the vehicle's speakers. The system generates audio designed to mimic a V8 engine while the vehicle operates on battery power. Bentley joins other luxury automakers including Rolls-Royce, Cadillac, and Mercedes-Benz in offering electric vehicles in the premium segment.
