Five dead after Amazon cargo plane crashes at Miami airport

A Boeing 767-300 cargo plane operated by Amazon Air overran a runway at Miami International Airport and caught fire on January 22, 2026, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Five people died and five others were seriously injured in the incident. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
