Democrat challenging Mike Lawler won't commit on campaigning with AOC, Mamdani or rejecting DSA

Cait Conley, the Democratic candidate challenging Representative Mike Lawler in New York's 17th Congressional District, said in a television interview that she would not campaign with State Senator Zohran Mamdani or Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. When asked whether she would reject endorsement from the Democratic Socialists of America, Conley did not commit to doing so. Lawler, a Republican, has represented the district since 2023.
