Inspur, which Washington sanctioned over alleged work with the Chinese military, has a subsidiary that continued purchasing Nvidia's advanced chips, according to reporting by The New York Times. The subsidiary shipped the processors to Chinese artificial intelligence companies. The U.S. has maintained restrictions on selling certain advanced semiconductor technologies to China since 2022.
