Competitive Pokémon is on phones now, but you still need a Switch to become a champion

Pokémon Champions, a battle simulator application, launched on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 before becoming available on mobile phones. Players can begin competitive battles using the mobile version, but participation in the Pokémon World Championships requires access to a Switch console. The application allows players to compete in ranked battles across both platforms.
