Judge blocks X rival from using Twitter name, but allows ‘Tweet’ for now

A federal judge temporarily barred a startup from using the Twitter name while finding that X likely abandoned rights to the "Tweet" trademark and bird logo. The startup subsequently relaunched under the name Tweet.app. The ruling addressed trademark disputes between the competitor and X, formerly Twitter.
