Myanmar military head visits Vietnam to normalize relations

Myanmar's military leader visited Vietnam in a trip aimed at restoring Myanmar's position within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The visit was his third to an ASEAN member state since taking office. Myanmar was suspended from ASEAN participation in 2021 following the military coup.
