Tesla Cybercab is barely real and it’s already under investigation

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced an audit query into the Tesla Cybercab to examine its compliance with federal motor vehicle safety standards. The vehicle lacks traditional features including a steering wheel and pedals. NHTSA did not specify which safety requirements the vehicle may not meet or provide a timeline for the investigation.
