UK will 'resolutely uphold' Falklands self-determination, Miliband says

UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband stated the country will uphold the right of Falkland Islanders to self-determination. Argentine President Javier Milei said the "winds of change" favoured Argentina's claim to the territory. The Falkland Islands are a British Overseas Territory located in the South Atlantic Ocean, approximately 300 miles east of Argentina.
