Microsoft opens up Xbox Cloud Gaming with new pay-as-you-go option

Microsoft announced a pay-as-you-go option for Xbox Cloud Gaming launching in November, allowing users to access the service without an Xbox Game Pass subscription. The company did not require a minimum subscription commitment under the new model. Microsoft stated the change was designed for users who do not use cloud gaming frequently enough to justify a monthly subscription fee.
