OpenAI Cut Off a Billion-Dollar Customer to Avoid Elon Musk

OpenAI ended its partnership with Cursor after SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, acquired the AI coding startup. WIRED reported that OpenAI had estimated the Cursor partnership would generate over $1 billion in annual revenue. OpenAI did not publicly state its reasons for ending the partnership.
