Nvidia is buying Hugging Face for almost $13 billion

Nvidia agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $12.93 billion. Hugging Face is an online platform founded in 2016 where AI developers share projects, models, datasets, and tools. The acquisition places the open-source AI hosting platform under ownership of Nvidia, the world's largest AI chipmaker by market value.
