Democrats demand Homeland Security officials fund election security ahead of midterms

Democratic lawmakers sent a letter to Homeland Security officials requesting additional funding for election security measures ahead of the midterm elections. The letter stated that the lawmakers have "grave concern that time is running out … to assist state and local election officials in protecting our elections from cyber and mis-and disinformation threats."
