Investors Skeptical on Bessent Put, Morgan Stanley's Sheets Says

Andrew Sheets, global head of fixed income research at Morgan Stanley, said on Bloomberg Television that investors are skeptical Treasury actions will significantly alter market conditions. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent recently pledged to increase purchases of long-dated bonds. Sheets also discussed the outlook for US economic data and Federal Reserve policy during the interview.
