US military boards, searches and sinks vessel allegedly supporting Los Choneros narco-terrorists

U.S. military personnel from USS San Antonio boarded and sank a vessel in the Eastern Pacific that officials said was being used as a floating refueling station by Los Choneros, a designated criminal organization. The boarding and sinking were documented in video footage. Los Choneros operates primarily in Ecuador and has been linked to drug trafficking operations in the region.
