Sharpeville massacre survivors start legal fight for justice in South Africa

In 1960, South African police opened fire on a crowd of protesters in Sharpeville, killing at least 69 people. No prosecutions have been brought in connection with the killings. Survivors and families of those killed are pursuing legal action seeking restitution.
