Stan Kroenke purchased the Los Angeles Angels for $4 billion, marking the highest price paid for an MLB franchise to date. The sale was announced in 2026. Kroenke, who also owns the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Nuggets, became the Angels' majority owner through the transaction.
