Amazon’s AI assistant can now spot fake emails from the company

Amazon introduced a feature allowing users to ask its AI assistant Alexa for Shopping to verify whether emails, text messages, or phone calls claiming to be from Amazon are authentic. The assistant uses AI to compare received messages against known Amazon communications. The feature is designed to help users identify impersonation scams targeting Amazon customers.
