New immigration court tactic leads to huge lines and chaos in Miami

Miami immigration court judges were assigned master calendars in which they review cases for more than 100 immigrants in single hearings, according to court records. The schedule change resulted in extended wait times at the courthouse. Court officials have not publicly stated the reason for the new assignment structure.
