Tado’s new thermostat is designed as a Nest killer

Tado announced its Smart Thermostat X (2nd generation) this week following Google's exit from the European thermostat market in 2025. Google directed its European thermostat customers to Tado as an alternative after discontinuing support for its 1st and 2nd generation thermostat models. Tado is based in Germany and markets smart home products across Europe.
