Australia's economy grew 2.1 percent in the second quarter of 2026, according to data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Economists surveyed before the release had forecast growth of 1.8 percent. The growth was driven by increases in household consumption, business investment, and exports, the bureau reported.
