U.S. Announces Thousands of Arrests in New York Immigration Operation

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced the arrests during an operation in New York. Gov. Kathy Hochul stated she doubted all those arrested had criminal records. Mullin did not publicly specify whether the individuals had prior criminal convictions.
