Ex-Indiana deputy charged with felony for allegedly using Flock cameras to stalk girlfriend

Skylar Thompson, a former Indiana deputy, was charged with a felony after allegedly conducting more than 2,000 searches of Flock camera footage using his girlfriend's license plate while falsely documenting the searches as city planning duties. Flock cameras are automated license plate recognition systems used by law enforcement. Thompson's access to the system through his employment allowed him to search the database. The charge relates to the unauthorized use of law enforcement technology for personal surveillance.
