Senegal, IMF Reach Staff Agreement on $2.2 Billion Loan Program

Senegal and the International Monetary Fund reached a preliminary agreement on a $2.2 billion loan program. The deal resumes IMF lending to the West African nation after a two-year freeze that began following the discovery of billions of dollars in previously undisclosed loans.
