Grandfather finds hidden treasure in plain sight as park officials 'dumbfounded' by discovery

A Tennessee man discovered a 2.29-carat yellow diamond at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas while searching for diamonds with his two granddaughters. The park is open to the public for diamond hunting. Crater of Diamonds State Park is located in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, and has yielded thousands of diamonds since it opened to visitors in 1972.
