Israel, Greece Seal Historic $3.5B ‘Achilles Shield’ Deal to Build Multi-Layered Air Defense

Israel and Greece signed a 3.5 billion dollar defense agreement on Monday for Israel to build Greece a multi-layered air defense network. The agreement, named "Achilles Shield," expands defense cooperation between the two countries. The deal includes construction of air defense systems for Greece by Israeli defense contractors.
