Caitlin Clark issued a statement regarding an incident during a WNBA game in which Alyssa Thomas made contact with her throat. Clark called the contact a flagrant foul and said the league should improve player safety protections. The WNBA reviewed the play and assessed Thomas a flagrant foul.
