The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope launched successfully. The telescope will travel approximately one million miles over three months to reach the second Sun-Earth Lagrange point, a gravitational balance point located beyond the Moon's orbit. From this location, the Roman will observe the universe to study dark matter and dark energy.
