Unexpected ancient complex emerges near biblical city linked to Jonah and St Peter

A 1,300-year-old industrial complex containing pottery kilns, warehouses and shops was discovered in Ramat Gan along a route connecting Jaffa and Jerusalem. The site dates to the early Islamic period. Ramat Gan is located near Jaffa, a coastal city historically associated with biblical and religious figures.
