NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, under development, is designed to observe distant galaxies, exoplanets, and other celestial objects. The telescope is named after astronomer Nancy Grace Roman, who led NASA's astronomy program during the 1960s and 1970s. Launch is scheduled for the early 2030s.
