A study compared how AI chatbots, search engines, and AI-generated summaries handle foreign propaganda. Researchers tested popular AI chatbots and found they debunked false claims more often than search engines did. AI-generated summaries placed above search results performed worse at identifying false information than both chatbots and traditional search engines.
