Nepal Rescuers Race to Find Thousands Missing

Rescue operations are ongoing in Nepal following a glacial collapse that triggered flooding near the China border, with more than 600 people confirmed dead and thousands unaccounted for, according to Bloomberg. Destroyed roads and bridges are hampering access to isolated communities affected by the flooding. Nepal is requesting international assistance for tunnel rescues, victim identification, and recovery efforts, Bloomberg reported.
