NY County Chief Bruce Blakeman Follows Law to Cancel ICE Contract, but Joins Lawsuit Against Gov. Hochul

Bruce Blakeman, Nassau County chief executive, announced the county will comply with New York's law requiring the cancellation of its ICE cooperation contract. Blakeman also stated that Nassau County is joining a lawsuit challenging the law's constitutionality. The lawsuit names Governor Kathy Hochul as a defendant.
