Massive Chinese bot farm caught conducting US ‘influence operations’ pushing coordinated online narrative

X identified and removed approximately 200,000 accounts originating from China that were posting coordinated messages about artificial intelligence and data centers during U.S. energy policy discussions. The accounts were inauthentic and operated in a coordinated manner according to X's findings. The activity occurred while the U.S. was debating energy policy related to AI infrastructure.
