BioCryst is profitable. Now it wants to buy more rare disease drugs

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, a maker of rare disease treatments, announced it is now profitable and plans to acquire additional rare disease drugs. The company had previously operated at a loss while developing its portfolio. BioCryst manufactures treatments for conditions including hereditary angioedema and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome.
