GOP firebrand targets booming business letting foreigners exploit US citizenship laws

The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed the chief medical officer of Have My Baby, a Miami-based medical facility, to testify before the committee regarding birth tourism practices. Rep. Brandon Gill chairs the panel conducting the inquiry. Birth tourism involves foreign nationals traveling to the United States to give birth so their children obtain U.S. citizenship.
