Wyoming Governor Objects to ‘Very Odd’ D.O.J. Election Monitoring

Governor Mark Gordon of Wyoming said the Department of Justice election observers who visited a polling station in Cheyenne during voting displayed behavior he found unusual. Gordon, a Republican, did not specify which actions concerned him in his initial statement. The DOJ has a statutory authority to monitor elections for compliance with federal voting rights laws.
