How an Atlanta Suburb Ended Up Sharing Flock Data With More Than 2,000 Organizations

The Alpharetta Police Department shares data from Flock automatic license plate readers with more than 2,000 organizations, including federal agencies, state departments, and local commissions. Flock Safety, which operates the license plate reader network, allows partner organizations to access data collected by participating police departments. Alpharetta began using Flock cameras in 2019 and has expanded its network across the city.
